Welcome |
Welcome to the Foula Heritage WebsiteFoula is the most remote inhabited island in the British Isles, lying 20 miles to the west of the Shetland Islands. The island boasts dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife. Inhabited since Neolithic times, the island is rich in historical significance. The Foula Heritage group was started in the year 2000, seeking to preserve the island's rich natural and cultural heritage. Foula Heritage administers a part time Ranger Service to help guide and inform visitors to the island. This project is supported by NatureScot.
